Saturday morning. One tipster posts a SportyBet code with four games. Your friend sends a Bet9ja code with six. Another group shares a 1xBet code with three more you like. You want all of it on a single ticket on the bookmaker you actually use.
Doing that by hand means opening three apps, writing down thirteen games and rebuilding them one by one, hoping the markets match. Merging booking codes does it in one step. Here is how it works and what to watch out for.
What merging booking codes means
Merging reads several booking codes, collects every selection from all of them, and builds one new slip containing the lot. The output is a single booking code, often called a master slip, that you load and stake once.
A merge works on one bookmaker at a time: all the codes go in from that book and the master slip comes out on it. Codes from other bookmakers are one extra step away, covered below, and the result is the same. A SportyBet code, a Bet9ja code and a 1xBet code can still end up as one BetKing slip.
Why bookmakers cannot do this for you
Most bookmakers let you load one booking code at a time onto an empty betslip, and rebuilding the rest by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. None of them can read a code from a competitor at all, because they do not have access to each other's systems. Those are the two gaps Convat fills: converting brings every code onto your bookmaker, and merging puts them on one slip.
How to merge booking codes step by step
- Open Merge Slips in the Convat app or dashboard.
- Choose the bookmaker your codes are on.
- Paste the first two codes. Add a row for each extra code.
- Tap review. Convat checks every code with the bookmaker and lists them under Detected slips, each marked valid or invalid, with its legs and odds.
- On Review merge you see the number of slips, the total number of events, the combined odds, and how many duplicates were removed.
- Tap Merge into 1 slip. Convat creates one booking code containing every selection.
- Load the code on your bookmaker and place the bet.

Merging codes from different bookmakers
Because a merge runs on one bookmaker, codes from other books need to be brought over first. It is quick:
- Pick the bookmaker you want the final slip on, say SportyBet.
- Convert every code that is not already on SportyBet with the bet code converter. With several codes, Bulk Convert does them all in one run.
- Merge the converted codes together with the ones that were already on SportyBet.
Converting first has a hidden benefit: you see, code by code, whether any game is missing on your bookmaker before it disappears inside a twelve-leg slip.
What happens to duplicate games?
Tipsters overlap more than you would think. If two codes both contain Arsenal to win, the merged slip keeps it once. You will see a line telling you how many duplicate selections were removed, so the count of games never surprises you.
Different picks on the same game are a different matter. Most bookmakers will not accept two selections from one match on the same accumulator, for example Arsenal to win and Over 2.5 goals in the same Arsenal game. Check the review screen and keep the pick you trust more.
Merging changes your risk, a lot
Every game you add multiplies the odds, and it also multiplies the ways the slip can lose. Three 4-leg codes at around 5 odds each merge into a 12-leg slip at roughly 125 odds. That looks exciting. It is also a slip that needs twelve things to go right.
| Slip | Legs | Approximate odds | Implied win chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Code A | 4 | 5.0 | 20% |
| Code B | 4 | 5.0 | 20% |
| Code C | 4 | 5.0 | 20% |
| Merged | 12 | 125.0 | 0.8% |
The implied win chance is just one divided by the odds, before the bookmaker's margin. It is a quick sanity check worth doing on every merged slip. If the number makes you wince, consider merging fewer codes, or split the merged slip into balanced tickets afterwards.
When merging is the right move
- You trust several sources and want their best picks on one ticket.
- You play one bookmaker but your friends use others. Convert, then merge.
- You run a group and want to publish one master code instead of five.
- You want to add your own picks to a code you received. Merge it with a code you built yourself.
For a single code you only need to move, use the bet code converter. Our merge and split betting slips page has a short overview of both tools.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine two booking codes into one?
Yes. Add both codes to Convat's Merge Slips, choose your bookmaker, and you get one booking code containing the selections from both.
Can I merge a SportyBet code with a Bet9ja code?
Yes, in two steps. Convert the Bet9ja code to SportyBet (or the other way round) so both codes are on the same bookmaker, then merge them into one slip.
What happens if two codes have the same game?
An identical selection is kept once and the review shows how many duplicates were removed. Two different picks on the same game usually cannot sit on one accumulator, so keep the one you prefer.
Is there a limit to how many codes I can merge?
You can add several codes in one merge. In practice the limit that matters is the bookmaker's maximum number of selections per slip, and your own appetite for risk.
Is merging free?
The free plan includes a small number of merges every day. Paid plans remove the daily limit.
